Conventional mill operator — Sokoto South

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Sokoto South, Sokoto State. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Six days a week, one day off.
