Ironing operator — Pierce County

Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Pierce County, Georgia. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots 6+ years on the tools preferred.
