Scaffolder — Southend-on-Sea

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolder in Southend-on-Sea, England. The job is on a residential housing development. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns The role involves: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
