Turning centre operator — Orelope

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Orelope, Oyo State. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
