Trailer driver — Gokana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trailer driver in Gokana, Rivers State. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience The role involves: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
