Production machine operator — Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production machine operator in Clay County, Illinois. You will work in a textile mill. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
