We are recruiting: elevator technician (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Essex County, Vermont. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
