Vacancy available: VMC operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Bandera County, Texas. You will work in a CNC machining unit. The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
