Sand plant operator — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Franklin County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
