Moulder wanted in La Salle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in La Salle County, Texas. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
