Quality control inspector — Vanderburgh County

Join our team: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. You will work in an automotive parts factory. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Day-to-day duties: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line 3+ years on the tools preferred.
