Immediate opening: we are hiring a carpenter in Borough of Stockport, England. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On a typical shift you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £80 per day, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
