Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Marion County, Texas. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors 4+ years on the tools preferred.
