Now hiring: we are hiring an access control officer in Dallas County, Alabama. You will be based at a shopping mall. Ideal candidate: • Height and weight as per security norms • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Ex-servicemen preferred On a typical shift you will detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
