Skimming plasterer — Mono County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Mono County, California. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
