Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Nelson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Nelson County, Virginia. The job is at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Overtime paid at a premium rate.
