Immediate opening: backhoe operator (Kogi State)

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Ankpa, Kogi State. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Overtime paid at a premium rate.
