Concrete pump mate — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Monroe County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
