Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Perry County, Illinois. Requirements: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
