Day-to-day duties: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units 2+ years on the tools preferred.
