Fusing press operator — Hampton County

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Hampton County, South Carolina. The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time, day shift.
