Immediate opening: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
