Civil works labourer — Bakassi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Bakassi, Cross River State. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦270,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
