Scaffolding supervisor • The Scottish Borders, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. You will work at a commercial fit-out project. You will install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
