Auto painter — Val Verde County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto painter in Val Verde County, Texas. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day to day you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
