Container truck driver — Uvalde County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Uvalde County, Texas. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing Day-to-day duties: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Meals and transport allowance provided.
