Moulder — Hawaii County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a moulder in Hawaii County, Hawaii. The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Six days a week, one day off.
