Steel fixing chargehand — Delta County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Delta County, Texas. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
