Steel fixing chargehand — Dickens County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Dickens County, Texas. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers.
