Overlocker operator — Stevens County

Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers.
