We are recruiting: we are hiring a stone mason in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. Ideal candidate: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding On the job you will handle: • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat Part-time with flexible hours.
