Industrial sewing operator — Somerset County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Somerset County, New Jersey. On the job you will handle: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 5+ years on the tools preferred.
