Vacancy available: kitchen steward (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Wadena County, Minnesota. You will be based in a hospital canteen. Day to day you will help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard. What we are looking for: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Full-time with occasional weekends.
