Dry lining plasterer — Houghton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Houghton County, Michigan. The role involves tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Six days a week, one day off.
