Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Clinton County, Ohio. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
