Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Six days a week, one day off.
