Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Clark County, Missouri. The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
