Brickwork mason — Carter County

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Carter County, Tennessee. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
