Crane operator — Blount County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Blount County, Alabama. You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
