Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Ughelli North, Delta State. The job is at a landfill site. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster The role involves excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
