Fabricator-welder — Thayer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will be based on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
