Safety inspector — Jack County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Jack County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Part-time with flexible hours.
