Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
