Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
