Vacancy available: baker (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Henrico County, Virginia. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Full-time with occasional weekends.
