Brick mason — Rockingham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Rockingham County, Virginia. The job is on a new-build development. You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
