You should have: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Able to cut glass accurately to size Day to day you will replace cracked or broken window panes; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass.
