Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Daviess County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Your main tasks: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters Rotating shifts. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
