Wheel loader operator wanted in Spartanburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a landfill site. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Six days a week, one day off.
