Brick mason wanted in Knott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Knott County, Kentucky. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On a typical shift you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
